Peter Bondarenko

was born in Australia of a Ukrainian Father - now deceased and an Indo-Fijian mother and grew up in Western Sydney. He is a graduate of University of South Australia with a Bachelor of Accounting Degree. This makes him an Accountant by profession but a Minister of the Gospel by calling. Coming from a totally non-Christian background, Peter Bondarenko met Jesus Christ in an amazing way and surrendered his life to follow Jesus in ministry.

Subsequently, Peter enrolled at the ‘Christ for the Nations1 Bible Institute in Sydney and completed a Diploma in Biblical Studies. It was here that he met Gerald James, a member of the ‘Christ for the Nations’ board and a close relationship developed based on the passion and fevour that both had for Evangelism and ministry to the nations of the world. Peter joined Gerald James on outreaches to Aboriginal settlements in the remote rural areas of Australia and later on Missions trips to Africa and Asia. “The trips was life changing, the Power of God was incredible and the miracles were amazing” Peter was greatly impressed by the vision of Hope Ministries and consequently joined the Hope Ministries Board. Consequently, hejoined Gerald James in a regular weekly prayer time where he began to be mentored and trained for ministry.

Eventually on 28 September 2012, Peter Bondarenko was inducted into Hope Ministries as a Pastor/ Evangelist. Peter continues to work as an accountant in Sydney while serving in ministry. “My heart is to see the lost saved, here in Australia and overseas and to see people discipled and following Jesus whole heartedly”.
